Spring Fling

Caleb's school hosted a "Spring Fling" festival over the weekend.  There are a variety of games and activities for the kids to do, but the first thing Caleb wanted to do was the "Cake Walk".  And sure enough, he won some cookies!
St. Patrick's Day cookies to be exact.  Full of sugar, high fructose corn syrup and artificial colors...pretty much the worst things ever (when sugar is the very first ingredient you know it's bad!)  But how can I say no to these faces?

I think it is safe to say that my boys enjoyed their cookies.

This was probably the strangest game I've ever seen!

That's right, you just throw giant rolls of toilet paper into the toilets.

Caleb loves bounce houses but they are very difficult for him to do on his own.  Specifically the ones with giant slides that require you to hike up a bunch of inflatable, squishy steps.  He can't do these on his own.  This is where daddy comes in and saves the day.  Glenn carried Caleb up the unstable steps (no easy task) so that Caleb could enjoy the slide.
Yep, that is a giant grin on his face.  He loved it.

While cake walks, games, and giant bounce house slides are fun and Caleb loves them...he loves Nina even more.
Nina is one of Caleb's dearest friends at school this year.  I hear about Nina on a daily basis.  He was thrilled that he got to spend time with her at the "Spring Fling".  They were so cute.

OH MY HAND HOLDING!! Could they be any cuter?? I love the toilet paper in the toilet game?? LOL! Those cookies are so gross and so good. We have ones just like it up here. I feel dirty when I eat them, but I can't stop myself.
